Easter day

Yeah yeah, Easter day, I think it is called Good Friday in Malaysia. Ain't like Malaysia, the whole Adelaide city is resting. None of the shopping mall opened. As I heard from my friends, the whole rundlemall is closed. Hmm, big big different from Malaysia. Malaysia will definitely be happening and everyone will be shopping in the KL areas. Stuck in the traffic will definitely be a very usual scene. But here, it is like a dead city when I walked out from my house at 11.30 pm at night. The city is pretty quiet, very little people on the street. Me and my friends will be having fun all day long from 11.30pm straight till the morning! We went to Lyrics, a karaoke place, celebrating Easter day! As usual, we meet up with Shou Yee and his friends, no doubt, he is the planner of today's event!

Party rocks!

The party ended 4 something in the morning. Not tired at all cause yeah, for the first time, I am totally sober! Wake up 12pm in the morning, prepared ourselves and went out again. David Jones is having a big big sales, the perfumes and watches there area so cheap. So tempting to get one! Let me earn earn earn and earn and grab in Melbourne during the semester on July! After buying Ru yiin's lappie, we headed to Jeremy house for our big big dinner. Credited to Jocelyn, her cooking is fantastic.

Awesome dinner we had in Adelaide for the first time. We usually cooked easy dishes as we are all lazy and wanted the fastest speed to prepared the dishes. The dinner for tonight used up 1.5 hours to prepared!

9.30pm and it is 12 degrees outside, windy and freezy. We were all wearing short pants and searching bus stop for us to go back to the city. Pretty freezing and our leg felt icy. Although we felt icy and freezy, but still we were happy running here and there. When we saw bus 280, we ran over to the bus like we saw golds. Its a pretty good experience for us!

Eggless

Its Saturday night and we got nothing much better to do. Wen Hwei called us out for dessert. Pretty lazy to go out on that night, but still ended up went out for our beloved desserts. We went to Eggless which is located at the suburb area. Although it is located in suburb area, everyone is willing to go there and wait for the dessert! What so special about it? Eggless is special in - all the dessert and cakes that originated from Eggless do not contain any eggs. It is pretty obvious to know that from their dessert house's name. Besides, the menu won't be repeated. They changed it every month. 31.03.2012 is the last day of March, we didn't missed the March menu, I think we will return on April to try out the April's menu! When we reached Eggless, there are 10 people on the waiting list. We waited for about one hour just to try out the dessert!

After enjoyed all our dessert, no where else to go! headed home. It is so quite at night unlike Malaysia, full of noises and partying everywhere. Goodwood is kind of peaceful!

Malaysian Welcome Lunch

Yawn, I am so tiring after work and dinner with friends. But I don't feel like sleeping. Sometimes I feel like sleeping is a waste of time. I rather do this and that than sleeping. I changed my sleeping style, normally I will take a nap in the afternoon or evening after I finished my class. And now, no nap at all! I feel weird for myself as well. 

Thursday afternoon, there is a Malaysian Welcome Lunch event held in the Law building, City West Campus. Time to grab some Malaysian foods. As usual, nasi leman is a must, kuih-muih and my beloved jelly. Yummy yummy, gonna grab some jelly powder from Chinatown and make on our own. Yeap, that's the plan!

Feel some hot weather these few days, love the sunshine so much and with all the yummy Malaysian foods make me misses Malaysia alot.

Whoever joined this event got a voucher but the voucher only can be used with a minimal spent of AUD 8.80 =(. The foods on this event is all prepared by Mamak Corner and also some of the TSSG committees. Thumbs up =)

Mamak night

Missed Malaysian foods so much! We checked out on the price on a piece of roti canai and a glass of limau ice, it costs us freaking $8 bucks. It is so expensive! We can get it in RM3.00. So, Mamak Night fulfilled our craves. Had roti canai, nasi lemak and teh tarik. Yummy yummy.

My outfit of the day

Its Friday Night! Initial plan was go ice skating after dinner. At last, we tried something new - Ban Mee. But, Jeremy, the chef failed! Is his idea to teach us how to make Ban Mee but ended up he is the one who suggested to buy Pizza! Pizza is still better than our failed Ban Mee. Don't care, going to try again on next time. Practices make perfect!

Ice skating plan cancelled and we ended up went to casino. What else to do in casino? As usual, they gambled and I act as the watching roles. The main purpose I went there is for the free drinks. 2 cups of free drinks each day. I ordered Creamy Choco with sugar as usual. After ordering from the vending machine, sitting down there and chill. Nothing else better than chilling and chit chatting. My mood so on on that night. I make up myself. Happy girl I am! Making and dressing up myself is the best for me because in Adelaide, there is not much chances for me to make up myself. So I decided to so although we only went to casino!

Hot Creamy Choco is always the best choice to me in such a cold day. It keep me warm!

So after finish the first round in Casino. We went to celebrate Benjamin's birthday. Happy 21! We celebrate in Belgium Bar which is near to Rundle Street. They bought him an ice-cream cake. Yummy. And, of course, birthday boy always got bullied from others. He drank three pines of Hoagarden! And at last, we played a game, we got 12 person at there and we bought 12 pines of beer. the last six of us need to pay for the bill! Heart-attacking game. But still will have 6 person lose! Angel, the champion. First runner up goes to Jennifer. And the third runner up goes to.. Not sure who is it!

Saw some nice art paint on the wall along the street and a car with the tree on top of it!

After all the gaming, we went to have supper - KFC. Miss the time when I having KFC with sissy and cousy. Cousy posted up a KFC photo on instagram. So tempting!
